Basically, this is ½ cow without all the stuff you wouldn’t want. Most people don’t realize that when buying cow shares, the price per pound usually includes the hanging weight of the animal. Here, you are paying for actual meat. It is very expensive to raise animals in California.

Please be sure you have adequate freezer space before ordering.
As a general guideline:
• 150 lbs of vacuum-sealed beef requires approximately 5–7 cubic feet of freezer space
• This typically fits in a small chest freezer or about ½–¾ of a standard upright freezer
• All meat is frozen, flat-packed, and vacuum sealed to maximize space and keep everything organized
Helpful tips:

✔ Consider adding a small chest freezer if this is your first bulk purchase — they’re energy efficient and great for long-term storage
